FLUX

Flux was Birmingham City University Graphic Communication’s graduate showcase in 2023. The idea behind the visuals was to convey the students’ resilience and perseverance through starting university in lockdown and now emerging into the ever changing design industry. The morphing blob represents the state of flux we had to adapt. The event took place from the 12th -24th June 2023 and had a private viewing on the 13th June.

This was a massive group effort to create posters, website, catalogue, showreels, venue decor and social media content. I specifically worked on the early designs for the Instagram stories and posts with two other designers. A lot of this wasn’t used as, part way through development, the visual direction changed dramatically. However, the general structure and post plan was continued into the final designs.
